Fortunately, as Thailand is the agricultural country and herbs are ubiquitously available, Thai people collected their experiences of herbal treatments and passed them down from generation to generation
Presently with cutting - edge medical technology. Thai herbs and medicinal plants are medically acclaimed for their properties as ailment prebention , treatment and supplenental tietary. They have been transformed in a varied range of product with worldwide recognition.Some of them are presented here.

Khamin Chun (Turmeric)

Character : Dark yellow to orange rhizome
Part used : Fresh or dried rhizome
Property : Alleviates gastritics and indigestion , treats , ulcers , antioxidant , and reverse oxidative damage in liver.

Wan Hang Jarakae(Aloe)

Character : Water plant, greenish and long-tailed leaves look similar to the crocodile tails with a scattered white dot.

Part used : Gelat in at leaves.

Property : Use chopped piece on head temple to relieve headache and skin inflammation; moisturizes the skin.

Fa-Ta-Lai-Jone

Character : Short – lived plant , year - round plantation, 30-70 cm tall ,bitter taste.

Part used : Fresh or dried stem

Property : Common cold relief , thirst quencher , treats sore throat & tonsillitis , antiallergenic and anti – diarrhea activity (nonbacterial type).

Som Khag (Carcinia)

Character : Small – perennial plant , thick & shiny leaves , slightly big with strong sour taste.

Part used : Meat
Property : Appetite suppressant , lipogenesis inhibition , weight loss , and energizing.

Gra – Theim (Garlic)

Character : Short – lived plant , small growing underground , stinky smell , white – purpled flower ; Popular as a Thai culinary ingredient for delicious smell.
Part used : Rhizone or fold

Property : Decreases cholesterol , increases blood Flow , reduces risk of carcinogenesis inhibition and antiallergenic activity.

Look Yor (Noni/Indian mulberry)

Character : Small – perennial plant , circular or oval shape with rugged with rugged or uneven textures
Part used : Dried fruit
Property : Anti – nausea , serves as a laxative , and stimulates body immune system.
